The 1.7.1 patch brings in some new options to the CoH settings menu that allow us to test in DX10 modes.  The NVIDIA 8800 GTX is again the clear winner at 1600×1200 in the single card configurations as it pushes nearly 40 FPS compared to AMD’s HD 2900 XT that gets under 30.  And the GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB is again powerful enough to best the top AMD card.

SLI scaling is more impressive in this title with the dual 8800 GTX cards able to produce a 56% average frame rate increase over a single card and the 8800 GTS 640MB produces a 57% gain.  Again, using two AMD HD 2900 XT cards shows NO performance increases at all.
