If you like the CPU-Z application for your overclocking or informational purposes, you’ll probably find the new GPU-Z utility just as handy.

GPU-Z does not hide its similarity to CPU-Z when it comes to the user interface, but the job at hand is absolutely massive. There are numerous graphics chips on the market in most insane combinations, discrete or integrated, and so on.

Currently, the beta supports ATI and Nvidia chips only and has porblems with some hardware like integrated chips with odd numbers – we used HP’s tx1000 Tablet-PC, and its integrated GeForce 6150 was not exactly detected as it was supposed to be.
