The small gain on the 7.10 drivers actually put the HD 2900 XT in a small lead over the 8800 GTS 640MB card this time around.
And again, CrossFire performance is finally worth talking about as it is able to increase the average frame rate on the HD 2900 XTs to 51.2 FPS – a 32% scaling rate over a single card with the 7.10 Catalyst drivers and a 54% gain over our previous CrossFire results.
