At 1920×1200, nothing really changes as the new driver update doesn’t do anything for single card performance.
The Catalyst 7.10 driver does help the HD 2900 XTs here a bit with another 9% gain or so over the 7.9 drivers. Performance comparisons of the HD 2900 XT and 8800 GTS 640MB card are just about equal here.
