Others may prefer to walk above the entire length of the map on the suspension cables that hold the bridge, and take advantage of the various power ups to be found in the towers mid-way across.  More deviant players may skip the bridge altogether, instead choosing to go below and use the rickety wooden piers and bridges that can also take you across the river to your enemies flag, and offers a chance to take a quick break at the island in the middle … to pick up the Redeemer.

Oddly, this is the one time where the HD 2900 XT is able to out perform the new HD 3870. The reasoning is probably a mix of drivers and hardware, but I am sure the added memory performance of the 512-bit interface on the original R600. Performance between the HD 3870 and the 8800 GT is still pretty close though as both are able to perform pretty well at 2048×1536.
