Battlefield 2142 version 1.25 (DirectX 9.0c)
Battlefield 2142 is the latest title in the popular Battlefield series. It uses very detailed shaders and still provides the same wide-open areas for fighting that the BF series is known for.
During the benchmark, we thought both these cards would be neck-in-neck in the performance category. But, the EN8600GT seemed to pump out a few more frames than the HD2600XT. The performance boost wasn’t very noticeable during testing, but the ASUS card accumulated 11 more Frames Per Second at 1280×960 and 7 more frames at 1600×1200.
