Final Thoughts and Conclusions
Cooler Master has done an excellent job of bringing to market one of the best high output power supplies available today.  The Real Power Pro 1,250W power supply’s voltage regulation, line regulation and cross-loading regulation are all very good. The overall efficiency is excellent and AC ripple noise suppression is good, especially on the +12V outputs.  Under normal operating conditions (below 600W load) the Real Power Pro 1,250W is very quiet.  The PSU comes fitted with a large assortment of hard-wired cables and connectors that can support up to three, high-end video cards.  And let’s not forget that black chrome finish, active PFC, a 5-year warranty, and that very COOL Cooler Master branded bottle opener!

The only potential weakness we can see with the Real Power Pro 1,250W power supply is its inability to deliver the full 1,250W rated output when operating on very low AC mains voltage (100 VAC or less).  However, this is not a very likely scenario and I doubt very few if any end users will experience a problem because of it.  Again, the credit for flushing this out goes to our friend Paul Johnson over at [H].  And while certainly not a requirement, a master On-Off switch is frequently nice to have.

The Cooler Master Real Power Pro 1,250W power supply is scheduled to start shipping in December 2007, just in time for Christmas, with an expected MSRP of $359.99 USD.
