Gaming: World in Conflict
World in Conflict (DirectX 10)
An incredibly detailed RTS game, World in Conflict allows you to look at your troops from a bird’s eye view as well as zooming to street level to get hands on with the combat. As you get closer, the game only looks better, as the scaling detail is incredible making this title an easy pick for DX10 benchmarking.

World in Conflict Test Settings

We have all come to find that though World in Conflict does benefit from some GPU power increases, we can see here that additional CPU power is used to up the frame rate over what we were getting on our other 3-Way SLI system. Even at 1600×1200 the Digital Storm computer is about 20% faster than our top-end configuration. Even more importantly, that performance lead continues on through the 1920×1200 resolution and even is there at 2560×1600.
