Company of Heroes (DirectX 10)

Company of Heroes is another very compute-intense RTS that also has some unique features in it for fans of the genre including a fantastic graphics engine and a real-time physics engine built by Havok.

Company of Heroes and the DX10 patch see some performance gains with the third 8800 Ultra card in the lower resolutions, though not as much as we saw in Call of Juarez.  At 1920×1200 the move from two GPUs to three gives us a 25% boost that is noticeable but not as good as the 83% boost you get by adding the second GPU compared to a single card.

At 2560×1600 scaling is more impressive as the 3-Way SLI system is going be about 35-40% faster than a dual-card configuration and 164% faster than a single card setup.
