Unreal Tournament 3
Others may prefer to walk above the entire length of the map on the suspension cables that hold the bridge, and take advantage of the various power ups to be found in the towers mid-way across.  More deviant players may skip the bridge altogether, instead choosing to go below and use the rickety wooden piers and bridges that can also take you across the river to your enemies flag, and offers a chance to take a quick break at the island in the middle … to pick up the Redeemer.

Before anyone writes in – yes I know how to remove the frame lock in UT3 but I have chosen to NOT do so as I don’t most gamers would be turning it off on their own.  Maybe I am mistaken on that, and if you think so, please email me your reason and try to convince me.  😉

It is because of that frame lock that the 2-Way and 3-Way SLI performance looks so flat – there isn’t much difference between a single 8800 Ultra at 2560×1600 and either a two- or three-card system.  From this it would seem that the Unreal Engine as it is implemented in UT3 isn’t has tough on gaming systems as we thought it was going to be.  Even the 8800 GTS 512MB card that sells for around $350 is performing very well compared to these configurations at 2048×1536.
