Without a doubt the most breath taking game I have seen yet, Crysis is from the developers of Far Cry, yet another title that was ahead of its time. This game will bring any system to its knees, but look good doing it.
Crysis Test Settings
Crysis is obviously the king of graphics card benchmarks today and it shows here as are our testing consists of resolutions like 1024×768 and 1280×1024. At the former, the 8800 Ultra is still the dominant card taking a noticeable lead in performance over the new HD 3870 X2. However at the 1280×1024 resolution the two cards are performing nearly identically with 1.4% edge going to NVIDIA’s flagship part. Even more impressive might be the lead that the HD 3870 X2 has over the pair of standard HD 3870s: 12.5%.
