Bioshock (DirectX 10)

An impressive FPS-based game with a great story, Bioshock impresses with both graphics and its ability to drag you along in the gameplay.  It has both DX9 and DX10 render paths and should make a great benchmark for graphics cards promising the best of both worlds.

At 1600×1200 it would appear that the HD 3807 X2 is going to be shown up rather handily but as the resolution increases the performance for AMD looks more and more impressive.  At 1920×1200 it is still behind NVIDIA’s 8800 Ultra card but not by much and by the time our 2560×1600 testing rolls around it has taken the lead in overall Bioshock performance.
