Performance Tests

For our performance benchmarks, we chose to use RightMark’s Audio Analyzer 6.06. This program tests the quality of analog and digital sound from different types of hardware. The measurements are conducted by playing and recording test signals passed throught eh examined sound section using frequency analysis algorithms. We tested the ASUS Xonar D2 and U1 against Creative’s X-Fi Premium at 16-bit, 44 kHz (CD Quality), 16-bit, 48 kHz (DVD Quality), 24-bit, 48 kHz (Studio Quality), and 24-bit, 96 kHz (Studio Quality) modes.
