SiSoft Sandra and CineBench 10The latest edition of SiSoft Sandra continues on the tradition of testing the purely synthetic power of the processors to see how much performance software developers might be able to pull out of them.
Our defacto synthetic benchmark for CPU and memory speed shows the HP Blackbird 002 right there at the top of the charts when it comes to raw CPU power. Out performed by only the higher-overclocked DS system and the QX9770 processor, this gaming PC is going to have pretty much as much power as you can get today.
Because we had to use the 32-bit version of CB10 for both the HP Blackbird 002 and the DS Twister machines, these results make the overclocked CPUs look slower than they should. This is just another reason why the move to a 64-bit OS would be highly recommended.
