USB is on the enhancement drugs

Take a look at these pictures of the new USB 3.0, due to arrive soon. The sockets are deeper, but still backwards compatible and the new standard should transfer around 4.7Gb/s which is faster than a SATA drive. I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting to see it reach that speed, but it is likely going to feel a lot faster than current USB 2.0 speeds.
