“Even though the EVGA e-GeForce 8800 GS comes with just 96 shaders and 12 ROPs it can easily compete with AMD HD3850 and HD3870. The card offers great price/performance and is very very quiet. With up to 30% overclocking this card is every overclocker’s dream being able to surpass the much more expensive 8800 GT when overclocked.”Here are some more Graphics Card articles from around the web:

The EVGA e-GeForce 8800 GS 384 MB offers a nice challenge to the HD3850, and even the 3870 in some cases. With a 550MHz GPU and 800MHz RAM, it can keep up with most of it’s competitors, the cutbacks happened in the bus width which has been throttled back to 192 bit. With a bit of work, TechPowerUp! hit 700MHz Core and 1039 MHz
RAM, which puts it on par with the 8800Ultra when you talk pure speed, although it won’t outperform one with it’s throttled back bus. For about $400 you can get a pair, or about $500 for a pair of GTs.
