It looks like the debate on what the final clock speeds of the NVIDIA 9800 GX2 might be settled; and we posed this question just yesterday in our latest podcast episode. 

Here’s the rumored data:

These clock rates are about the same as the 8800 GT: 600 MHz core, 1500 MHz shader clock and 1000 MHz memory clock (the 8800 GT reference speeds are 600/1500/900).  However, the 8800 GT only has 112 stream processors while the 9800 GX2 will have 128, just like the 8800 GTS 512MB card.

Performance is still up in the air though these specs are going to give us a bit more information in that regard.
