In the music and communications testing suites the Skulltrail platform performs well, faster than the QX9770, but again not by a large margin. The productivity test puts Skulltrail below the QX9770 while the Hard Disk test is the worst of all – the Skulltrail motherboard is at the bottom of the list. This storage performance deficit from the Intel ESB2 south bridge will manifest itself in some gaming areas as well.
