The Futuremark 3DMark06 benchmark was released many moons ago and has
become a popular test for GPU benchmarks and CPUs as well. You can see my full overview of the new benchmark, what it has to offer over the 2005 version and some other initial scores from my previous article.
Showing you these scores is really pointless after the barrage of games we just massacred with our Quad SLI configuration but if anyone was looking for a silver lining you can see that the fill rate and pixel shading power of the pair of 9800 GX2 cards SHOULD be good for gaming – if only NVIDIA can take advantage of the power.
