Synthetic CPU and Memory Tests
The latest edition of SiSoft Sandra continues on the tradition of testing the purely synthetic power of the processors to see how much performance software developers might be able to pull out of them.
In the synthetic tests the Phenom X3 8750 starts things off pretty well; the memory bandwidth is impressive and just a bit slower than the quad-core Phenom and the CPU and Multimedia tests put the X3 CPU above the dual core parts but slower than all the quad-core options.
