The Phenom X3 8750 scales well with POV-Ray here; the AMD Phenom X4 9850, that has 25% more cores, performs about 25% faster.
CineBench is also utilizing AMD’s triple-core processor well – notice that the single threaded results of the X3 8750 are slower than the X6800 dual-core part from Intel yet the multi-threaded results give the X3 8750 the edge.
