Better than your average passive cooler

The Xigmatek HDT-SD964 will beat out passive CPU coolers, but it’s performance isn’t going to help you overclock. The ~20dB of noise that the cooler creates certainly won’t intrude on your ears, making this a great cooler for a quiet system. CPU3D even thinks that with a higher speed 92mm fan, you would see a big improvement on the temps, with little effect on the noise produced.
