3DMark06
The Futuremark 3DMark06 benchmark was released many moons ago and has become a popular test for GPU benchmarks and CPUs as well. You can see my full overview of the new benchmark, what it has to offer over the 2005 version and some other initial scores from my previous article.
**Note that 3DMark Vantage software is out, but we didn’t have it when testing was done on these cards. Expect more 3DMark Vantage results very soon!
Scores between the new Diamond 1GB HD 3870 card and the 512MB version are pretty much the same here, as you would expect with two cards using the same GPU.
