3DMark06 – Single GPU

**Note that 3DMark Vantage software is out, but we didn’t have it when testing was done on these cards.  Expect more 3DMark Vantage results very soon!

Scaling across our series of synthetic tests is pretty straightforward – the higher the clocks on the 9600 GT card the better the score. The AMD Radeon HD 3870 still has some advantages in a couple areas but that only matters if it pans out on in real-world gaming, which it did not.
