Bioshock (DirectX 10)

An impressive FPS-based game with a great story, Bioshock impresses with both graphics and its ability to drag you along in the gameplay.  It has both DX9 and DX10 render paths and should make a great benchmark for graphics cards promising the best of both worlds.

Looking at the performance differences between the stock 9600 GT and the OCX version, there is a very noticeable difference in ability: a 23% increase in average frame rate at 1600×1200 and a 13% at 1900×1200.  The 8800 GT OCX card is clearly the best performer here coming in well ahead of the other three cards as we expected.
