The HX1000W power supply has a large assortment of modular and hard wired cables/connectors. The motherboard power cables (24-pin, 8-pin and 4-pin) and two PCI-E cables are hard wired into the PSU chassis, while all the peripheral drive cables, four more PCI-E cables and/or one 8-pin EPS cable are modular. The hard wired cables are covered with black plastic mesh sleeving and measure approximately 24” long (to the first connector). The modular cables us a flat ribbon style cable for easier routing and better airflow. They range in length from approximately 17” (to the first connector) to 28” long.
