Liquid Cooling System – Pump/Reservoir
Pump/Reservoir
This particular pump appears to be similar (but not identical) to other pumps Thermaltake uses in their liquid cooling systems. The inlet fitting attaches to the reservoir via a friction fit. The pump cable is terminated with a 4-pin Molex connector and rpm sense wire that can be plugged into a spare motherboard fan header to monitor pump speed/operation.
The label on the side of the Thermaltake pump lists the following specifications.
The plastic reservoir tank is fitted with a screw cap for filling and has a maximum capacity of 350mm.
The Thermaltake pump also incorporates a bright blue LED that lights up when the pump is operating.
Tubing
The SwordM liquid cooling system includes approximately 6’ (2m) of UV reactive 3/8” ID tubing.
Coolant
Thermaltake supplies two bottles of pre-mixed coolant (500cc each), which is more than enough to fill the system. The coolant is primarily water and contains ethylene glycol (the toxic variety of automotive antifreeze) so keep it away from children and pets.

Hi
I bought a computer recently and has this sort of pump. the wires to the connectors are chopped off just bare wires. can you please tell me where the wires go which is 12 volt and 5 volt. I don’t want to wreck the board.
the person I bought it from had to wire it differently as I have a Gaming Rig MSI B450M Gaming Plus Ryzen7 2700X 16G RAM GTX 970 4GAM Ryzen 7 2700X six-Core Processor 3.70 GHz I think he adapted it to work on this board. As the board is small. I have bought a brand new pump only in case I need to change it. this has a radiator at the back all is wired tubed up. I don’t do gaMING ONLINE EVER. BUT NEED A GOOD COMPUTER FOR REMASTERING OLD VIDEOS ETC.
