Synthetic CPU and Memory Tests
The latest edition of SiSoft Sandra continues on the tradition of testing the purely synthetic power of the processors to see how much performance software developers might be able to pull out of them.

From a purely synthetic stand point at least, the single-core single-threaded VIA Nano L2100 processor appears to be faster than the Intel single-core dual-threaded Atom 230 processor. Memory performance is relatively equal but raw compute power lends itself to VIA’s Isaiah architecture for now.
