Just like with previous Toughpower power supplies, Thermaltake has chosen Channel Well Tech as their OEM partner.  This build appears nearly identical to the Toughpower 1,200W PSU as well as some other power supplies on the market that are based on the same Channel Well Tech PUC platform (like the Corsair HX1000W and the Koolance 1,300W liquid cooled PSU).

The Toughpower 1,500W power supply incorporates three independent sub-sections: two nearly identical 750W secondary units and a 17.5W +5VSB section.  A common filtering stage and primary section supply all three.  It appears as though one secondary produces +3.3V, +12V1, and +12V4 while the other side produces +5V, +12V2, and +12V3.  DC to DC converters are used to produce the 3.3V and 5V outputs from 12V.

The primary caps are rated for 85°C (the primary section typically runs cooler than the secondary) while the secondary caps appear to be rated for 105°C.  Note the use of solid polymers caps on the DC converter riser cards.
