Hope you didn’t buy a GTX260 last week

bit-tech noticed a drop in the price of the GTX260 actually hitting retailers, as opposed to just being something we are still waiting for. In some cases the GTX260s are down to the $230 range, putting them at the same price point as the HD4870. It looks like the big difference between the two now is better Folding@Home, PhysX and SLI versus better video encoding/decoding, free software and Crossfire support.
