One crowded backplate

The 790GX chipset from AMD looks like a veritable Swiss Army knife for outputs, the ASUS M3A78-T sports 12 USB 2.0 ports, 2 firewire ports, a GigE Ethernet port, an 8-channel HD S/PDIF optical output, the onboard ATI Radeon 3300 GPU offers HDMI, DVI, and VGA video output ports and there’s even a PS/2 keyboard port. If you run out of plugs, you may have a serious problem. [H]ard|OCP tested out the performance as well as it’s features, drop by and see why they weren’t overly impressed.
