World in Conflict
World in Conflict (DirectX 10)
An incredibly detailed RTS game, World in Conflict allows you to look at your troops from a bird’s eye view as well as zooming to street level to get hands on with the combat. As you get closer, the game only looks better, as the scaling detail is incredible making this title an easy pick for DX10 benchmarking.

World in Conflict Test Settings

Though the performance advantage dwindles as the resolutions increase, the BFG GTX 295 card is still the best option for World in Conflict even as we reach the 2560×1600 resolution. The minimum FPS is what really does best for NVIDIA case here as the different between a drop to 30 FPS and 14 FPS is pretty significant. Quad SLI is able to help performance slightly at 2560×1600 by increasing both the average FPS and minimum by about 20% or so.
Even tho this is a pretty old
Even tho this is a pretty old VGA, it’s still a awesome graphics card.
I got 2 of these on SLI that I plan to replace soon, but together they can handle most recent games in high details and resolution.
For my new machine, there will be 3 SLI VGA’s (don’t know which) running on a 6-core, which I expect to bring me an additional 20 to 40% performance.
Still, great video card.
I don’t ever regret buying it!
