Moving around to the rear of the enclosure reveals a fairly typical mid-tower ATX layout except the power supply is located at the bottom of the enclosure, which provides increased stability. A rear 120mm exhaust fan moves warm air out of the CPU/motherboard area. Note the two pre-drilled holes with plastic grommets above the rear exhaust fan for use with external water-cooling systems.
All of the expansion card brackets contain ventilation slots, which along with the grill opening beside the expansion card slots, allows warm air to exhaust out the rear of the case driven by the positive internal air pressure.
Flipping the Fortress FT01 case upside down exposes four rubber feet. Also notice the large bottom mounted air intake opening with dust filter, which allows cool room air to be drawn into the bottom of the power supply.
