This Lenovo runs Linux
As is their wont, Phoronix went out and picked up a Lenovo IdeaPad S10 and removed the installed WinXP SP3 and replaced it with Ubuntu 8.10. Thanks to the steady evolution of Linux, the laptop and all of it’s accessories worked perfectly, much like the Samsung NC10. The Samsung was used as the comparative model in their benchmarking, and the IdeaPad fared fairly well.
