“While Tuniq is not a very well known name in the PSU market, many of you modders out there are very aware of Tuniq’s sister company, Sunbeamtech. Tuniq is a subsidiary and looking to move into the very lucrative market space of high power computer power supplies. So, do the Tuniq have what it takes at 1000 watts?”

Tuniq is certainly not the first name that comes to mind when you think of PSUs, but they have been dabbling in that market and their newest offering is the Ripper 1000W PSU. 900W of that power is sent to four 20A 12V lines, which is sensible on a PSU targeted for those with as many graphics cards as will fit in thier case. [H]ard|OCP had mixed feelings about this PSU, it did pass all their tests but some of the components seemed a little out of place among the other high end components. See what you think of Tuniq’s high powered PSU.
