If you want good bass from a pair of headphones you might want to look at Sony’s MDR-XB700 headset.  They are very large, thanks to the 50mm driver in the headphones which supply the bass.  On the other hand, from the testing at Hardware Zone, the drivers they used might not have been of the best quality for they found significant distortion at high volumes.  Don’t let that scare you away from the review, you still won’t easily find better bass at lower volumes.
