Ruggedized laptop/tablet
The Intel Convertible Classmate PC doesn’t really sound all that interesting, but it is definitely worth a look. It’s an Atom powered netbook, with a display that not only swivels but can be reversed and flipped down to make this into a tablet PC. The carrying handle doesn’t do much for the aesthetics, but this is no Macbook Air as the colour scheme should give away. It is more of a Fisher Price theme, designed to work well and put up with the abuse a young child dishes out everyday. Drop by The Tech Report for a look, as well as some of the ways to purchase one.
