DIY on a smaller scale

OCZ has been selling DIY laptops for a while now, you buy a shell lacking a processor, hard drive, memory, or an operating system. You then get to pick which components you put into the machine, ending up with a laptop built to your specs and for less than buying it full assembled from a retailer. They’ve now moved onto netbooks, offering up a little kit about twice the size of a game case, with a 10″ screen and an Atom N270 1.60GHz, the HDD and DDR2 choices are left to you. Drop by The Tech Report for a look at how well they have done.
