If you are going to pick up a PSU, why not one that could power three or four mainstream computers?  You can even choose between a pair of manufacturers, the Xigmatek NRP-HC1501 or Thermaltake’s Toughpower 1500A W0171, not that either are easily available.  In their testing, Think Computers feels that they have conclusively proved that 1500W is more than any current generation PC needs, but it certainly isn’t a bad thing to have.  Both of these PSUs provided stable power and were not producing more noise or heat than lesser PSUs, so there are no drawbacks to going overboard makign sure your PC is powered fully.

“Today we will talk about two power supply units of gigantic capacity: Xigmatek “No Rules Power” NRP-HC1501 and Thermaltake Toughpower 1500A W0171.”
