Packaging and Parts
The Monsoon III LT is packaged in a pretty attractive retail box that features a nice studio shot of the heatsink with its blue LEDs. It also has listed a few of its features on the bottom of the front panel.
The back panel of the retail packaging includes more of the heatsink’s features and even a few additional photos for consumers to look at. There’s also a picture of the heatsink installed in a Cooler Master Cosmos case, which is ironic because most of the parts on this heatsink seem to be manufactured by Cooler Master.
One of the most impressive things about the packaging was the multi-layer foam that was used to secure the heatsink and accessories during shipping. It’s extremely secure and ensures nothing rattles around.

The Monsoon III LT comes with a host of brackets, screws, backplates, rubber grommets, and spacers to mount this heatsink to AMD’s Socket AM2+, AM2, 939, and 754 as well as Intel’s LGA 1366, LGA 775, and LGA 771 (Skulltrail only). This means it supports every modern processor available today.
