HDTach allows us to evaluate the performance of any storage subsystem including SATA, eSATA, USB and Firewire where available.
We saw a few spikes in CPU utilization in a couple of our HDTach benchmarks. This benchmark’s results are primarily based on the individual storage devices being used than the motherboard. Overall, both boards had similar benchmark scores.
