HDTach allows us to evaluate the performance of any storage subsystem including SATA, eSATA, USB and Firewire where available.
There’s nothing too significant to report in our HDTach benchmarks. This benchmark’s results have a lot to do with the individual storage devices being used than the motherboard. We did notice slight variances with the MSI Eclipse in CPU utilization, but nothing to be overly concerned about. Overall, every board seemed to be on par with their benchmark scores.
