Seasonic SS-400H1U & SS-460H2U Power Supply Review

Specifications

The Seasonic SS-400H1U and SS-460H2U power supplies are rated for a combined, continuous output power of up to 400 watts and 460 watts respectively.  Unfortunately there is no mention of the rated operating temperature either on the PSU labels or in the specifications.  Both units feature dual +12V outputs, Active PFC and come with fully modular cables.

Cables

The modular cables that come with the SS-400H1U and SS-460H2U power supplies are the same and divided into three groups.  The three connectors on the PSU end each have a different number of pins to help insure the proper cables are plugged into the correct connector.

20-pin:     (1) 4-pin ATX (19”)
              (1) 8-pin EPS (19”)
              (1) 6-pin PCI-E (24”)

24-pin:     (5) 4-pin Molex (15” to 24”)
