The sculptured top of the Spedo enclosure features an I/O panel located towards the front and a 230mm exhaust fan mounted towards the back.  Note the two USB ports are located far enough away from one another that using one port won’t block the other.  However, with all the available room up top it would be nice to have an IEEE Firewire port and a couple additional USB ports added in for good measure.

The rear of the enclosure reveals a fairly typical full-tower style ATX layout except the power supply is located at the bottom of the enclosure, which can provide increased stability by lowering the case’s center of gravity.  Two rear 120mm exhaust fans are used to move warm air out of the CPU/motherboard area.  Note the pre-drilled holes with plastic grommets in the upper left corner for use with external water-cooling systems and all the PCI slot covers are louvered for added airflow.

Flipping the Spedo case upside down exposes four articulating plastic feet and a two bottom air intakes; one for the PSU and one for an optional fan if desired.
