The Sapphire Radeon HD 4850 Vapor
The Sapphire HD 4850 Vapor also uses a custom cooler design in order to differentiate itself from the swath of HD 4850 offerings on the market.
The larger fan on the Vapor cooler allows it to spin slower, and thus, remain quiet. The clock speeds on the Sapphire card remain at reference speeds: 625 MHz core clock and 1996 MHz GDDR3 memory speed.
The back of the card is again bare – nothing to see here.
The Sapphire Radeon HD 4850 Vapor supports CrossFire configurations with up to four total GPUs – if your budget and motherboard can support the extra cards.
The external connectors on the Vapor card include a VGA output, dual-link DVI output and HDMI output that supports audio output with the integrated audio codec on the GPU.
Just like the ASUS GTS 250 DK card, the Sapphire HD 4850 Vapor requires a single 6-pin PCIe power connection.
Inside the box with the Sapphire card are a power adaptor, CrossFire connections and a host of software including 3DMark Vantage and PowerDVD.
