AMDs drive to produce a new graphics driver has resulted in some lackluster updates for users.  In many cases it is not worth the reboot to install the new driver and in some cases it might actually hurt your performance in specific games or CrossfireX setups.  June has brought the Catalyst 9.6 to the public and again those using Radeon cards are scratching their heads wondering if they should install it or not.  X-bit Labs has your answer right here, as they examine the performance impacts on gaming and video applications.
