Packaging and included accessories
The Zero 2 comes packaged in a sturdy cardboard enclosure with NZXT’s black and blue branding scheme that includes a huge studio photo of the case itself. This is great to display the case without having to take it out of the box.
The back panel of the case enclosure has the usual suspects — features, specifications, and a brief introduction about the Zero 2. I also found it odd that they included an identical photo that of the front panel of the case that they used on the other side of the box. Didn’t their photographer shoot other angles of the case that consumers might like to take a gander at?
The Zero 2 is encased between two solid pieces of foam and wrapped in a clear plastic bag. Pretty standard as far as packing and shipping goes.
The included accessories are pretty bare, but they do include the brackets to install optical drives, hard drives, and floppy drives quick and easy. These brackets add a quick release function that makes swapping out these devices extremely simple and effective.
Lastly, NZXT threw in motherboard standoffs and all the screws to install the motherboard, PSU, additional fans and optical drives. Most cases at this price point don’t include a lot of fancy accessories, and the Zero 2 is no different. They included the basics, but will let the user purchase additional accessories when necessary.
