The steel enclosure of the Thermaltake Toughpower XT Series 850W power supply features a gray/brown finish and measures 160mm (6.3”) long, so it should fit into most cases.  The XT 850W PSU uses a single 140mm fan on the bottom for cooling.  The fan speed is automatically controlled by the internal component temperature (speeds up as the combined load and temperature increases) via an onboard speed controller.  The 140mm Yate Loon Electronics fan (D14BH-12) is rated for 0.7A when operating on 12 VDC.

The backside panel includes a power receptacle, On-Off switch, and a 3-position switch  that sets the fan delay time (Auto, 15 sec. or 30 sec.).  The open grill structure on the back allows air to exhaust out of the power supply with minimal restriction and turbulence.
