Crysis Warhead

Crysis Warhead (DirectX 10)

Without a doubt the most breath taking game I have seen yet, Crysis Warhead is from the developers of Far Cry, yet another title that was ahead of its time. This game will bring any system to its knees, but look good doing it.

In our most challenging gaming benchmark, the Gigabyte GTS 250 took the overall FPS crown. But, unfortunately we had issues getting any playable frame rates at higher resolutions and we even had to drop anti-aliasing to get the scores we compiled above. The GTS 250’s best FPS average at 1600×1200 was 21.35, which doesn’t meet our 30 FPS requirement to be considered a playable frame rate average. This isn’t to say that it didn’t play well at times, but we did notice some slight lag during portions of the Crysis benchmark in each of the three cards.
