Wow, very interesting results here; at 2560×1600 Resident Evil actually scaled BETTER going from the dual card configuration to the CrossFireX configuration: 48% versus 76%.  Scaling at 1680×1050 and 1920×1200 is more in line with what we saw in the rest of our test however.  The major drawback here for CrossFire on RE5 is the large drop in minimum frame rate at some specific points in our test that don’t happen with NVIDIA or the single Radeon HD 5870.  Hopefully this can be addressed in a driver fix in the next release.
